how do i change the fork seals? the forks are gas gas and i assume one is compression and the other rebound.do both forks dismantle the same or are they different? how much oil do i use? thanks

Wow thats helpful,

Ive been looking at technical info, for a 1992, for the same issue, how much fork oil.

Ive got loads of stuff from that website, but not this.

anyone know off hand ?

Mat

we just recently did fork seals on a 98

which still is the same fork (I guess)

we did "50mm from the top"

which was about 340ccm (not sure about that any more, but one quart was more than enough for both legs)

My GG video owners manual specifies 300cc in each leg but I like the idea of measuring the level from the top like I do on my KTM forks. Do you do that with the damper cartridge in and the damper shaft at the top and the spring off like you do on other bikes?

I do, but

I am a recent crossover from trailriding

not sure if this is the correct trials specific procedure
