May 30May 30 Got my 08 rev 3 250 apart for new mains and crank. After splitting the cases I found markings engraved 1064. Does any one know what this would have been done for. Its obviously the engine has been apart before as the new mains uv had are the plastic caged ones direct from beta. Old bearings were ntn.

May 31May 31 Three Ideas: Does it match with a part number for the cases? A machining note to define how much end float/shims the crankshaft needs. A job number from a previous mechanic shop to keep the parts identifiable.
