the front wheel bearings on my 05 300 pro need replacing.having not done them before has anyone any advice ?

Easy take front wheel out turn it on its side make sure u dont damage the disc cover it with something and knock out the bearings and make sure you keep the spacer in the middle ...basically reverse with the new ones going in.

Boiling water and a blow torch always mean they near enough fall out.

With the new bearings gently prise seals off and put some waterproof grease inside. Simple :boldblue:

The bearings that ive usually got have already been greased on the inside ...

I know, just remove as much of that crappy grease that comes with them and change it for waterproof stuff

a mate of mine who builds and flys his own aeroplanes after designing commercial airliners for a living says bearings should only be greased approx for a quarter of their circumfrence, anymore and the grease acts as a friction rather than a lubricant..
