On Dellorto carbs does a smaller main jet # equal a larger jet or vica-versa ?

The no. refers to the flow rate of fuel.

Here's a simpletons (my)way of remembering:

i.e the no. is how many drops of fuel pass through....so...

68 drops of fuel is always going to be richer than 66 drops of fuel!!
