New Frame?

Featured Replies

Started hearing rumors of a new Beta Frame for 2007, if so which way are they going? Smaller or beefier for a four stroke?

If it is a four banger it'll probably have the ktm engine used in their enduro range. Cant they manufacture a rev 3 (2 stroke) and a rev 4 (4 stroke)??

Ill send an email to beta, doubt they will reply but who knows??

Rumor on this side of the pond is that 2007 will be the last year of the 2-stroke and that 2008 will be a complete change over to the 4 banger. Supposedly a Beta 4 stroker and not the previously rumored Suzuki motor.

Who knows with Beta, they seem to hold their cards close and spring them at the last moment. Even with new year models, they are always last among the major builder to release a photo.

I expect you will not see an all new Beta until 2008. They would not have spent the money on new plastic moulds for the rear mudgaurd if they would only use it one year. Plastic moulds are not cheap and to use it for one year would not make financial sense.

2008 Beta.... No more 2 strokes is what I heard as of this past weekend.

New 08 Beta; new frame, new plastics, new bike, HRC powered.

This may also be just rumor.....
