June 2, 200620 yr Got my easy start kit and was wondering in the photos of the new cam it mentions two .5mm washers are they supposed to be in the kit or do you use the origionals ? got the rest done (started second kick) But am summoning up the courage to take the motor apart this weekend
June 2, 200620 yr Dixie I didn't receive any shims with my kit. I just used several from the original as required to get the end float correct. RE500
June 2, 200620 yr Just talked to Ryan of RYP, he has just done the hot start mod on the 3.2 demo they have. He was pleased with the starting of the bike, after the kit was fitted. kit's are on the way for 05 3.2 owners in the states, I would think two or three weeks.

June 2, 200620 yr Just coming up on a year I have ridden mine Sandy, still running fine, got a 06 minder bike coming from the US rounds, I'll slot my motor in that frame next week, and call it good for another year.
June 3, 200620 yr The 2.5's been and gone, a lad rode it and wanted it, it was a sweet bike, so I had to order another, one of the 125's. No hacking required, job lot just bolts in, use the 3.2 exhaust and airbox, head steady mount, rest is same. Edited June 3, 200620 yr by ishy

June 5, 200620 yr Author neo just see if it starts ; no seriously the kickstart is longer as well,but as RE says look at the master cylinder on the clutch side only fitted part of my kit and it starts really well ,maybe because i can use the choke again .
