June 6, 200620 yr Hi all, I would prefer to used PJ1 Oils; as this is what previous owner used and is advised by JLI - BUT, I am having difficulty finding/buying PJ1 Oils in Manchester. # Can anyone advise where I can get it in MCR # Also, can you recommend other oils instead (e.g I have been reading that ELF is the best!) To save mixing oils in future I would like to decide on WHAT is best for each particular application so I know where I am upto - if anyone can advise on each I would be grateful. Thanks in advance.
June 7, 200620 yr In my old 02 Beta I always used Repsol oils which I think are pretty easy to find..and they worked great..both the 2t and the gearbox oil. bvm sell them and will post them. Sorry if this doesnt really answer your question.
June 7, 200620 yr Elf is all I use in mine and it works really well The clutch feel much smoother than with other oils.
June 8, 200620 yr Author Thanks all. I just realised that JLI also like Repsol. Silkoline it is then! (I can get this locally) Thanks for replies - I will try the others out if I am not happy with this.
