Rooney To Play In World Cup

Featured Replies

Wayne Rooney has been told he can play in the world cup as long as he has a Cortizone injection....................................

David Beckham says if that fat ******* is having a new car then he wants one too

Has anyone seen the latest Viz with free World Cup poster.

One side has the flag on Saint George and written on it 'I'm not a racist, I'd just like England to win'.

The other side has the cross of Saint Andrew and 'Come on whoever's playing against England'.

I have a two day meeting in Reading next week on Thursday/Friday. We're knocking off early on Thursday so we can go to the pub and my colleagues can shout Engerland. I've found a shop in Glasgow that sells Trinidad & Tobago tops. Guess where I'm going tomorrow? :D

To buy an Englerland shirt and therefore greatly assist your chance of getting out the pub alive in the event of England getting beat by T & T.

Being in the "wrong" bar at British Forces HQ in Rheindahlen, Germany while Engerland were losing in a penalty shootout to Germany, think it was a Euro tournament '96 maybe.

I mean, it's not possible for 4 Scots to stay quiet in a room full of 1500 screaming squaddies when the Engerland player missed his penalty and lost the game.....suppose they managed to get a cancellation for an early flight home :D

After watching this weekends football till im bored ****less, England dont have a cat in hells chance in winning this thing I have to say . Call me negative if you want but I would say I am just being realistic. The emerging countries are playing some damn good football and I haven't seen anything better by our lot.

If this is the best football team that we have had for ages, then it dont hold out much hope for the future.. :D

However, if they prove me wrong I will be very happy! The feel good factor is good for business

Its the first time in 24 years we've won the opening game in the World Cup, against Paraguay, who are a decent team. It wasn't the best game of football. But I will settle for playing ugly and winning.

We're through to the knock out stages.

Now I stand a slighty better chance of getting a ticket for the Sweden game next Tuesday.

Come on England!

You still alive then??

I see that sales of rum and mangoes have increased in Scotland.

Isn't it sad when you have to rely on the English getting beat being one of your own countries sporting highlights.

But not this time!

Let me guess - you read that in the Sun?

S'okay - if you play like you played last night we won't have long to wait

Come on Andy give me credit, I may read and believe whats in Viz, but the Sun! Come on. I read the thing about mango's on the BBC website.

As regards playing badly. I will settle for ugly football and winning the World Cup. If we do manage to make it to the final, you may just have to watch it in a bar in Poland with a group of sasenachs.

England were a different team when Rooney & Lennon came on. Theres hope yet  I'm even getting midly optimistic
