June 28, 200620 yr Hi all from Sunny California! Enjoyed browsing the site. Turns out I rode Trials for a while in Europe, many many years ago (OK, OK in the 70s... ) Well, the bug has bitten again, in part driven by the great newer bikes and by fond memories of fun in the woods. So, I'm presently looking for a bike and if successful, may just get to enjoy the sport again. Hope to participate and perhaps contribute a bit later on to the site! best regards Eric
June 28, 200620 yr E9999 Welcome to the board Eric. Lots of great people here, good topics and interesting dialog. Let us know what you bought and if we can assist in anyway. I am the sites official nutcase (first held by Steve Fracy& Lane). Ignore everything I say as I tend to ramble a bit, been known to bite the heads off young members from the English speaking part of the world who's mother tounge is some ancient dialect. Waiting to be sent out to pasture by Andy. Cheers To all you other winkle pickers here is a guy who took the time to compose a sentence with grace and style. Learn from him or face the rath of the mad Scotsman Grrrr BillyT
June 28, 200620 yr Not to fret, Lane will be out soon and back filling the boards with his erm..... stuff. sad thing is!! they always erase his memory, so it will all start back at the 75 US world round
June 28, 200620 yr Hi Eric, back in the 70s what were you riding. Hey Ishy...Out soon! Wheres he at ? Across the pond has been a bit dull lately. You are right there he does seem to dwell in the once upon a time themes.
July 1, 200620 yr Welcome back Eric - Greatest sport on two wheels and - you don't HAVE to ride competition to enjoy your Trials bike - New bikes are like cheatin' - they will make you a star in no time. And Billy are you still aboot? or back South of the Border.
July 3, 200620 yr Author well, used to ride a 72 or 73 (IIRC) OSSA 250 MAR. These were the days... I'd go to Spain for vacaction with the bike and hook up with a club there. We'd go to the mountains, and find a little restaurant at the very top, and enjoy a catalan bbq (yum!) before heading back down... I'm in Central/So Cal, near Santa Barbara! thanks for the welcome!
