I use a BP5ES in my 300 Pro all the time. If you don't use the electronic odometer you won't have any trouble. Cheers, Richard

I also have an 05 300. If I twist the throttle even a little when trying to start, it won't. Don't touch the throttle! Cheers, Richard

I don't understand why it would be a five?? Don't the rules say you can't remove your hand from the handlebar while stopped, but nothing mentioned about a foot?

There are more riders in Ventura County than you realize... As far as Shercos go, talk to Steve Storz at Storz Performance, he has had quite a few of them and can probably help you out. If you would be interested in an '04 GG Pro Raga let me know. My buddy's got one for $4000. Cheers, Richard

When anybody else tries to start my '05 300Pro, they kick and kick. I tell them to not give it any throttle at all and it usually starts with the next kick. I rarely have to kick it more than twice, whether cold or hot, for it to start. Good luck, Richard
