Leggins:

There used to be a fairly energetic club in the Winnipeg area. The Take-5 Trials Club( maybe it was the name), held Nationals and club events and even held a World Round. I believe the CMA and the World Round took it's toll on the group and they never recovered. The main force behind the club was a guy named Francois Clauzade (Tex for short). I believe he is still in town and has his own Architectual firm. You should be able to find him in the phone book there.

I have ridden Nationals in Man. up in the Lac du Bonnet area and also Rennie. Up in the shield area. Great riding up there. Also, contact Outlaw Dave in Vernon BC as I believe he has a contact in Winnipeg also! His site is outlawtrials.com Hope this helps!

Cheers, Steve

Hi Leggins - As Steve says the "Take Five Club" in Winnipeg were quite active a few years ago ( around 1985-88) - Gary Hall was another name in the club. The only Trials rider that I know of from that Province is Bernard Neuhofer from Russell Manitoba - I sold him a Sherco a couple of years ago. - It's a long drive West to the nearest Trials events in either Alberta or BC.
