February 22, 200422 yr Did anybody use one of these auxiliary fuel tanks: http://www.lewisportusa.com/hebo_bike.htm Just curious what you thought of them and how they work?? Thanks, Kevin.
February 22, 200422 yr I've not used one yet, but have seen them up close. Looks like a nice setup. Simple and clean. Would sure beat carrying fuel bottles on your back
February 22, 200422 yr i saw something similar on a sherco recently you could stick your riding number on it but the owner thought it was a drinks bottle
February 28, 200422 yr Outlaw Accessories (my company) makes a extra fuel carrier for the front number plate, however, this type of added weight on the front, is noticable and that is why most riders going on long trips out in Western Canada are using my other Backpack fuel carrier - We have tested this on difficult long rides, and the riders all aggreed this was the way to go - plus you can carry one, two or three bottles depending on the ride, and you can take your pack off to ride sections (just like in the Scottish)...aye Outlaw Dave
March 21, 200422 yr I used my new Hebo Auxilliary tank yesterday. I worked great. It siphoned all the fuel out of it as the main tank emptied.
June 6, 200620 yr I USED A BIGGER TANK ON MY GASSER AT THIS YEARS SSDT.I PURCHASED IT FROM GAS GAS UK.IT WAS SUPERB AND HAVING THAT EXTRA PIECE OF MIND OF THE EXTRA FUEL IS WELL WORTH IT.NO DOUBT IT WILL BE OUT AGAIN FOR THE SCOTT,ROLL ON OCTOBER!!.
