Gas Gas Clutch

Featured Replies

hi i have a 2006 gasgas 250 pro and compared to a few other bikes that i have ridden or felt the clutch my clutch seems heavy, could any body suggest why this is the case and what can be done to make it lighter, i have put new clutch oil in only a month ago (putoline) and haven`t changed the plates since new about 8 months ago, any help would be much appreciated

cheers coxy

The gasser clutch is prone to swelling and should only be a certain width in diameter but surely it shouldnt have happened on an 06 not yet anyway.

the oil i used was putoline mineral clutch oil, i was wondering if it had something to do with the clutch plates been warn, would this have any effect on the clutch itself been heavy or would it just make it slip?
