August 18, 200620 yr Just a wee reminder to anyone thinking of riding the 'Scottish Round' of the British Solo Trials Championship should make sure their entry is sent as soon as possible. Lots of hard work has been done to stage this event on a unique coastline venue. With everything to play for in both championship and expert classes it is again going to be a big weekend with points going to a good mix of riders all season. Come on lad's give Sandra a call prior to sending your entry to give the club an idea off numbers. Cheers Arthur
August 18, 200620 yr What sort of level will the Expert line be? More technical rather than full on big steps and that sort of thing?
August 18, 200620 yr Yes it is probably more technical, large round boulders, some steps off medium size but nothing like the championship obviously. An expert rider can quite safely ride this class without a minder. the last section of the day will be school falls, which was a new ssdt hazard last year.
August 21, 200620 yr Well at least there seems to be some very good news on the horizion for everyone going to the west coast this year. According to this article Midgies on the BBC News website the midge population this year has been drastically reduced by the heatwave. Maybe this year I won't come back looking a big red blob, unless of course it's my suntan.
