Running Problem

Hi,

Have recently had my engine rebuilt on my sherco 250 2001. After getting it all back from the shop rebuilt i started it........... it runs fine when it is cold but as soon as it warms up it starts hunting for fuel. The jetting is set to bookj and the carb has been completely stripped and rebuilt by a specialst, this hyas not solved the problem. the bike is dragging in air from somewhere but i dont no where. help!!!!!!!!1


Just a shout out 2 anyone who may have had my nightmare..... where is the air being dragged in from???

I would give it back to the rebuilder if you cannot find a proper carb to swap! Otherwise the procedure may require a pressure test which is much more involved than I can briefly explain here. But you can quickly spray a bit of carby cleaner about the intake rubber to see if it makes a sudden change. Careful as it will melt the engine paint! What seals did they use? :D
