Hi just wondered if anyone knows if the original C15 fork bottoms (external springs) are suitable for machining and having more modern inernals fitted?
bike currently has mz forks with machined seal holders that look the part but i really want to make this bike elliagble for major pre65.

Having the originals "modified" would only make it eligible for the modified class.
Cleaning a section is like setting fire to Joanna Lumleys shoes.
