isaacely Posted May 3, 2011 Report Share Posted May 3, 2011 Hi,can anyone tell me the amount of oil that should be in each leg of the forks on my 1989 fantic 245? One leg seems to have a damper in it and the other just a spring. It looks like it may need a different amount in each leg. At the moment I have approx 150ml in each leg but it keeps leaking from the seal on the left leg even though it has a new seal in it, could it be because there is too much oil in it. It does not have any kind of external damping or preload adjusters. I am using ATF fluid at the moment is this ok? Thanks for any advice you can give, Alan.
