  1. Well lads thanks for all the advice but I ended up just buying a new wheel. I looked at it and weighed up the recommended repairs and as above then thought about the issues with loose spokes and just bit the bullet I gave gasgas uk a shout, they sent me out a new rear wheel with disc and sprocket for £260. I called them at 14:30 on Friday and it was on my doorstep the next morning in sunny Aberdeenshire what a service masive thanks to them.
  2. Cheers for that info I will try and get some today. Certainly sounds a cheaper option than £400 for a new wheel so worth a try first before I have to bite the bullet and buy a wheel.
  3. I am looking for a bit of advise on this bloody back wheel, the bike had a tube in it when I got it so I wanted to change it back to tubeless so pulled it apart only to find this mess inside. To me the wheel is knackered I doubt it would ever seal again and if so would prob not last long. Whats everyones thoughts on this wheel and does anyone know of any wheels to purchase to replace it.
  4. Correct that's exactly the location was a run on Sat I am the Aberdeenshire events guy for scottishscoobies.net was a load of us went the run great road for a scoob. Pic of everyone even had our mate in a EVO with us
  5. Good bit of info that cheers I appreciate that
  6. So you lads like a scooby too then here are a couple of pics of mine then. I spent a fortune on them and it's never ending I just can't stop modding them. I just got a stack of bits here for the WR1 to go on over the winter power build, it should be around the 450bhp + come the start of next year, it's running 354 bhp with 366 lbft of torque the now with a few mods and a Andy Forrest remap. The classic is running 340 bhp but it's getting a few more bits start of next year and be getting a different ECU with multiple maps and anti lag and so on mapped in. [/uR L]
  7. Yep well spotted my other passion I have a couple of scoobs too.
  8. Nice one cheers mate I will change it on Sunday then
  9. Whats the best gear oil to use in my 250. I have just bought a 2006 Pro 250 and my local dealer sent me a service kit and it has Putoline GP10 in it. Is this right as it looks like a ATF red oil in the sight glass ? I obviously dont want to open the bottle in case I have to return it if it's wrong. Thanks in advance
  10. Hi Folks The names Iain from Aberdeenshire. I have just bought a 2006 Gas Gas 250 Pro for messing about on over the winter and hopefully get into some club trails next year once I am back up to speed. I used to have a GAS Gas 320 way back in 2001 but was a bit to powerful for me at the time and I wiped myself out and have not been near one since. Anyway here is a pick of the bike.
