  1. Got it sorted today. I removed the bolt in the centre of clutch drilled it out because I couldn't find original.not it's working perfect.I'm running atf fluid in trany and it really foams up.should I justly run normal oil instead?
  2. Thanks for all help. I'm almost sure everything was right the,only thing.I can't say for sure is that the Allen bolt has a hole in it I didn't pay attention to that altho I should have. Seeing. As that's the easbestos I will try that first if it doesn't work il order full gasket set and do some ripping. Happy Christmas to all
  3. Hi lads got an 03 280 pro it's pressurising The gearbox and pushing oil put of breather behind sprocket. It's just had a full rebuild. New crank bearings/seals. Piston and full faster set. I'm confident crank seals are ok Is there another reason it may happen oil level is correct.maybe it waa a weak seal. Would,just like some feedback before I remove engine and strip it again.

  5. Thanks for fast replies really appreciated. I should have mentioned it's a plastic screw on cap not the conventional type used on most bikes.inside there is what appears to be brass piece.that takes up most of inside of the cap.
  6. Hi all. Quick question about 03 pro rad cap it has a brass insert in it.I think it's thermostat but would like to know for sure. Also has anyone a picture? Mine is hollow and spews coolant out of it..should it be hollow or not? Thanks
  7. Hi all. New here from ireland. Started trials few years ago and gave up after few months after an injury. Iv returned recently after purchasing a gasgas 280 txt pro model it's an 03. Joined up to get some help and tips.
