Here in the south west of England there are no trials meetings held on Remembrance Sunday. However, in other parts of the country they are - North Lincs and Stanley, to name but two. There are also 1st Division football matches held and rugby too - I believe. Many other sporting events are also taking place. So I wonder if now, after 70 years have passed since the end of the Second World War, trials meetings should once again take place on Remembrance Sunday? This should include a respectful period of silence at 11AM, to remember those that fell. What do you think?

Looking to buy a small item off Ebay a few days ago so I made a best offer. Item was free postage. Counter offer came back a bit under the original price but it was excluding postage and you could easily miss this. Had I gone ahead with the purchase the total amount would have been more that the original full price.

Today was the the first time i rode my Gas Gas jtx 270, in fact the first time ive ridden any trials bike, always thought how easy basic trials riding looked, Oh F... i was wrong, was on it about 3 seconds and the front wheel shot into the air, with me holding on in terror lol, that didnt help the confidence 1 bit, to be fair the 20 year old bike never missed a beat, fast throttle fitted didnt suit me at all, being a beginner, that will be changed, felt quite tense on the bike, causing my hands to get very painful, all that said i had fun and wont be giving up, will just be taking things very slowly

I've just downloaded and read the user manual for the 04 Gasser. I don't know if other bikes have the same warranty restrictions but this one is good. "Obligation of the purchaser" "GG shall be entitled to refuse to accept warranty claims if and to the extent that:" "g) the vehicle has been used for competitions, races or any attempts at any record whatsoever." Now isn't that a great get out clause for a competition bike manufacturer?

Hi folks, I've had no response from the Beta forum so I'll try here instead. My '97 Techno has no cut out switch. I want to fit one or maybe a lanyard switch. I know they only have two wires (having fitted a new one to my lads crosser) but I don't know which wires to chop into on the Beta. Any ideas?

I never liked riding with gloves on. I remember as a kid riding over the top of Penn Hill in the snow, and not feeling it. Unfortunately these days I must be in the office too much and I've turned soft. I started just carrying them so I could put them on when needed, but that's a pain in the butt most the time, and now I've got used to wearing them all the time. I've worn nothing but Hebo's for a few years, and although I find them OK, they don't seem to be anything special for the price. I've always kept my eyes open for alternative gloves, from places like Mountain Bike shops, but usually the price has been near enough to the Hebo's for me not to bother. Of all plac…

This early 2T version had escaped me but recently came across it surfing around eBay. Wondered whether anyone had first hand experience of one tackling a section, or even hearsay from someone else that had tried...? Given I'm not a serious trials rider, and fitted with the right sort of tyres, wondered if it could tackle both green-laning and a bit of self-learning at my local trials centre...?

Got a few emails from folk about various stuff, one thing they are asking is why I've been inactive on TC? Well, the truth is I've had enough of it.... And I've also got married, been on honeymoon and divorced the computer (until I can find time to sit back in front of it!) However, I shall be back!!

Hey Guys Did we have a fun week downunder with the visitors we had!!! It was good to see Clarky recover from his endo at the Scot to leave some rubber (and skin) on the ozzy granite and to watch Joa Hindren show everyone a Scorpa has big teeth!!! It was also fantastic to see the likes of Morris, Pons, Dabill, Brown, and the others in the OS troup on our soil. I just can't figure why Joa isn't riding in the factory Scorpa team after seeing what he can do when he gets off a plane and rides a borrowed bike???? Nice to have you gents come to visit.....come back any time!!!! BJDownunder

How much does a tyre have to lose its edge before grip in muddy conditions is affected. My back Michelin has about 3mm radius on front of knobbles and just doesn't grip in mud, unlike my mates beta with new Dunlop fitted.

Hi, I have a scorpa 290 works 1994/5 and the clutch drags on start up after awhile it frees itself but during the day it will drag and it seems to be doing it more and more. I have heard changing the oil in the clutch will help. I know nothing about bikes so how does one go about it and what oil is best. Also would like to change gear box oil, once again how? Any help, pretty pics showing how to or is there a general book out there which could help me. Thanks. Steve
