Fellow Trialers i am writing to inform you about a SCAMSTER he calls himself PETER KING he bids on bikes on ebay and has no intention of paying what he has bid.we've heard that he sometimes wont turn up ,or turns up in a car and offers you less money without even checking the bike,he then gives bad feedback and says its not whats advertised. i have met 3 people who have had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting the SCAMSTER,i ride a mont 4RT myself and whilst at sanderfords,i met 1 Guy from Disley who's had to repost his bike and i see theres a chap on here who's had bad reports from the KINGS...he has probably had the same problem with them.if your going to Buy/Sell a Bike…

  4. Evening all, Can anyone recommend a trails training ground (pay and play) area in between Stoke on Trent and Stafford? I’m looking for somewhere halfway-ish between where me and my mate live so we can hook up and just have a play about. many thanks.

Hi Guys I've just bought a tiger cub in need of restoration and would be grateful for any info on the best places to get spares and trials parts . I live in Bristol so any outlets in the South West will be handy to know. Thanks Rob

  7. Gentlemen My son is 9 and is keen to try his hands on trials. He is used to MX bikes and has a KTM50SX now. Its time to go up to a 65cc soon but we just might get a trials bike instead - I think its good experience and will teach him some real bike skills. Now, the question is what bike do you recommend for my kid, what size and what brand? I really like the late model GasGas bikes but how are they holding up? We are located near Lancaster (UK) so if anyone has a little used trials bike in good condition for sale it would not hurt to send us a line. Cheers

Started looking foreward to sunday and ended up remembering last weeks trials day out.. On the way we encountered a (what's the collective term) gaggle of cyclists on the road clearly making a statement about thier presence riding 4 & 5 abreast with the "outrider" supervising passing traffic...ok no problem carried on...about 3 miles up the road we came across a hord (about 40 or 50) of Ramblers crossing the road .they were walking what used to be a track we used in local trials..once again there was one guy controlling the traffic whilst the rest of them crossed the road..no problem. As i carried on the old mind started wandering ..if only we as a body of sports peo…

I have recently purchased my first trials bike. Its a 2008 Beta 4T 250. The machine is used and I would like to freshen up my fluids before i ride it to much. I am not for sure what oil i need to use though? I've been told Maxima is a good product. Synthetic? Semi synthetic? 10w-40? and what is this machines oil capacity? Thanks in advance for the help. I really appreciate it. Jeremiah

Hi guys Is there a specific tool to remove the 2 front flanged nuts on a cylinder? I can get a 13mm spanner on but it can't rotate enough before the back of the spanner contacts the case. I'm now starting to round the unit Iv messed with it so much! Frustrating as I'm the 2 front bolts away from checking the bearings and rebuilding the top end! Cheers Andy

Just on the subject of Ossa/Gas Gas tangled financial affairs, anyone have any news on the situation? i know GG is shot, but regarding Ossa. Seems a shame to have this marque go down so soon after manufacturing a revolutionary bike. Checked out TRS, looks very nice, but bit staid and really old hat. (even Del orto carb) Vertigo looks good and i guess will be, but not quite a game changer, mainly Fi is the difference, and the lattice type frame. Think will sell very well though, especially with the personnel developing the bike.
