Hi Has anyone tried removing peeling decals, cleaned them, then reapplied. If so what glue did you use and was it worth it? Cheers

Can someone explain, what the difference of CC'S are in bikes EG: Is a 125 suitable for a small lightweight person and a 300 is for heavier people or is the fact that 125's dont pull up hills etc? I have been looking at Gas Gas,Scorpa,Beta and Montesa. When i watched my trials DVD that i bought, the Cota looks like they struggle up steep hills, boulders and this was lampkin riding it,BUT when you seen a Gas Gas it just flew up the hills and boulders.I am a bit confused to say the least. And also 2 0r 4 stroke, whats the difference anyone explain,advantages/disadvantages. Just trying to gather as much info as i can about trials before i decide to part with my cash. Thanks

I spoke to the trials mechanic here who said he'd change the springs in the front forks for $30 each plus cost of spring ( not sure what spring go for?). I wonder if that's a cheap and decent solution to the bottoming out I get when doing small jumps? The damper adjusting didn't help. still bottoms out. Back doesn't bottom. this bike has 4 to 5 years hard riding on it, so I've read about giving it a "re-charge". What exactly is done? I need to give the rear suspension some life back? Can the gas inside be re-pumped in or....? I adjusted the damper knob on the rear both ways and it's hard to tell a difference. THANKS for your help. Let me know what you've done to your …

I was talking to a buddy about bikes who was complaining about how hard it was to get parts for some of the older machines, I was amazed to discover he'd never heard of Bike Bandit. So I got to wondering if there were others who hadn't. They have full parts schematics and OEM and after market parts for just about any Japanese bike you can imagine. I've been able to get parts for my 85 Sabre, an 85 Honda ATV and my 74 Yamaha TY250. So far I've never found anything they haven't had. You might try them. http://bikebandit.com

Finally approaching the point of trying to flash up my 240 Fantic that I have been patiently re-doing. Getting very excited to hear it run. Last things to do, are clean the carb completely, and put the new ring on , throttle cable, and put the rest of the engine back together. Hopefully try flashing it before the weekend is over!!

I have just bought a Beta rev 3 with a bent brake pedal that is resting on the chain, that much that it is starting to wear through. Before I buy another one I would like to try and staighten it first. Will I be better off heating it up or just trying to bent it cold?

I watched the Time Warp episode of bike trials tonight and thought it was really good. So I went to the Discovery.com/Timewarp posting board and suggested Motorcycle Observed Trials. Link http://community.discovery.com/eve/forums/a/frm/f/9931905079 Please take a look, post in support if you like. Maybe we can get some more exposure for the sport on television. (Could really use some here in the States)

Hi does anyone know who makes the s3 and other decals you find on wear areas of the bike i.e. frame, tank etc where it has a fine dimple resistant/wear resistant effect which never look old even when worn. I have looked every where for vinyl like this but can only seem to find carbon effect or the woven type??? I am eager to make decals for projects and this type of decal would be perfect!! Many Thanks for any suggestions/help.

A couple of very interesting perspectives in todays TMX, concerning land access in regard to off road sport..........looking at the both points of view, would it not be far more positive to set aside the petty back biting and bickering, and for everyone to work together to further the future of the sport through the purchase of suitable land?
