Hi I cant seem to find anything only about the meanings of each trials flag? is it different depending on what club you are in? if not could someone please explain what each flag means? easy route, clubman etc. The reason I ask is because I have a trial this Sunday, so I want to be prepared and know what route to follow . Can anyone tell me if the needle on the Keihin carb just sits in the slide via gravity? What I mean by that is, does it just sit there and not held down under tension??

What’s the general consensus on jet washing? Heard some people say it’s fine and some people say it can push water into places you don’t want water going in such as bearings.

Hi....... Motomerlin lowering the prices to of the 2004 Gas gases (I guess its to get rid of the 04's for when the 05's come out) are there any other bikes going to be sold a little cheaper? maybe at other shops?. Danny

Hi, I need to take the auxilary flywheel off to get at the clutch, does anybody know if the thread is left or right hand also how can i stop the engine turning over without a special tool, talking of the clutch is the retaining nut left or right hand thread? Thanks p.s also need to know thread on flywheel puller

Was riding in a quarry on sunday and came a cropper on a rock and tore my meniscus (cartlidge in my right knee). only just started being able to put any weight on it and physio said it will need operating on =( I want to get back on the bike asap and dont care about much else really! anyone had any experience with similar injuries? im told the waiting list is 6 months for the operation (even though its only a 30 minute keyhole jobbie), would this mean if I was to go private the cost would be relativly minimal? eg in the hundreds not the thousands? Hi - just picked up a 'barn find' TY175 which has a lot of surface corrosion. A local bodyshop run by a guy who rides and refurbs twin shock motocross bikes has recommended enamel as its harder wearing albeit a thin coat so it doesnt obscure the frame number. However I've also been recommended to powder coat it. I'll get the frame and bits and pieces shot blast first but wondered what the opinion was on powder coating versus enameling? Thanks, Mark

hi without naming any names or a makes does anyone know the situation of buying second hand from a dealer,just bought a six month old bike and a few problems have appeared after the first ride, i have contacted the dealer but as of yet he has not been there and has not returned my call thanks

Hi all, is it a good idea to use a inline fuel filter on the fuel line or do they give problems with the flow rate. Is there any mesh filters in the tank tap or carb? Cheers Andy

hi all, i noticed my michelin rear trials tyre has a directional arrow, does this mean i cant rotate it to gain a sharper edge or do you find the directin doesn't mater? thanks

Don't ask me how, but two of my rear sprocket bolts came out yesterday and did this to my swinging arm Thankfully I have access to a TIG welder here's the repair All finished ready to put back on Check your sprocket bolts
