November 12, 200619 yr My Rev 3 needs a new CDI. I have tested the stator and it seems fine on another bike but should i replace the stator too if the CDI is gone? P.s Does anyone know what CDi stands for?
November 12, 200619 yr Author Thanks Lee. Its amazing that i have had to ask 5 trails mechanics and none of them knew!
November 12, 200619 yr Absolutely don't replace it if there is nothing wrong with it, it will cost you an extra 140 quid. If you do decide that there is something wrong with your stator then consider getting it reconditioned, it is cheaper and generally they are more reliable. Bob
