Hi guys, So here I am contemplating another bike. 2 years back I had my workshop broken into and my bikes stolen. My main ride was a KTM SXF 350 and I had a li'l Beta Rev3 250 2007 for messing about on. I incidentally got the Beta back after it had been dumped (it was a bit rough to be fair) however after retrieval I left it in my van over night to have it nicked again and that was 3 weeks later after the 1st theft hmmmm something fishy going on there me thinks. Anyhoo Vowed I wouldn't ride or buy a bike again!! Well my 'vow' isnt holding water, 2 years on and I'm feeling like ive lost a limb and am starting to look at trials bikes. My experience with trials is …

I've been browsing the forum for a couple of weeks and decided to say hi. I've fancied trying trials for years. Having just sold a 90 VFR750 I had some space in the garage and bought a 99 Gas Gas TXT 321 off ebay last week. So far I've only ridden it for a quick figure 8 outside the garage. I live under 2 miles from Warden Law so I intend to put it back on the road and save time and money by riding it there to practise. It's a Q reg as dating evidence wasn't provided on registration, I may try to correct this for ease of insurance, but on the other hand an age related plate would according the the regs I've read mean a brake light was required as it's after 86. ebike …

Just wanted to say hello to all those who post on these forums. After a period of 25 years I've come back to the first sport I ever took part in; I was a 5 when I started and stopped at 13. Funny how at 39yrs old bruises seem to linger and general aches and pains appear constant! After restoring a Yam TY175 for fun and riding it a couple of times I got myself a 2004 Gas Gas TXT Pro 250 that happily tried to rip my arms out their sockets whilst I tried to 'clear' a tractor tyre on my first time out.... backfilp aside it could've worked out better but it is good to know the taste of mud in Devon hasn't changed much! Are their many riders in the Somerset area and if so w…

Hi from South Africa. I'm new to trials and have just aquired a 2007 Beta 270, and yes you guessed it, it has carb issues. It doesn't idle smoothly at all. I've done some reading up about installing a Dellorto, so please will you advise me where to go, who to speak to. I look forward to the help and advise. Cheers.

Hey guys, after riding biketrials for over 10 years I finally got round to getting myself a bike with an engine! To play with for starting I've got myself a 98 Beta Techno which seems to be in reasonable nick and I'm not going to be bothered when it gets dropped or ridden into a tree... Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could point me towards places which are acceptable to practice on the bike- having been used to just riding in town centres and anywhere that takes my fancy, the addition of an engine has thrown a spanner in the works! I live near Bournemouth and work in Southampton and have so far had a quick play at Hut Hill near Southampton and Portland but still not s…

Hi everyone. I'm new to this web site but not to trials. I started riding Observed Trials when I was 12 on a Honda TL-125. I worked for my Dad back then and he paid me $1.00 an hour. When I saved up enough money for half the price of a TL-125 my Dad put in the other half to buy the bike and get me into Trials. My first trophy I got was in the novice class in 1974 and I had "0" points for the day. That trophy was hand made by Jerry Young from PA out of cast iron. That's my favorite trophy. Then my parents bought me a 1974 Bultaco Sherpa-T 350. I did really good riding the Bultaco and Bultaco sponsored me. I was getting bikes for half price and free parts, which my parents …
