Hi everyone back into biking after 20 years, wanted to get back for many years but now have time and money. Bought a 198a (250 about 1979/80) need to know if anyone can help with details of colour and I need an electronic user manual can anyone help! Anyway it runs has a red tank but blue side panels and blue frame. Looking at pictures it should have a black engine but this one is silver and black top end? Is there any trails clubs in the South Yorkshire area. Thanks and all the best.

Hi All, I've had a 2001 Sherco for 3 years now and never really rode it. Might have run 2 tanks of gas through it in my backyard. (must have been a good 20 minutes worth) I have a KDX and have done a few enduros, but I'm not one of the hardcore bunch. C senior midpack rider if I even finish. I own a small business, have 3 small kids, and really can't afford to whack any more trees like I did last year. I mussed up my knee last September (that's right, a year ago) and if I don't pay attention, I'm still limping around. Anyway, (Can you tell I my fingers move right along on this thing) I helped a bit setting up for the Berwick national 2 weeks ago (ok, I cut the stakes for …

OK so I thought its about time I did something sensible..... and get a trials bike... so I went out and bought a Beta 4 stroke... 3 weeks later I am getting quite proficient at falling off... although the limp is getting better, the guys in the office are still ripping the pi55... I have even been loaned a copy of Nitro Circus to show me what a wimp I am being... So yesterday I go for a practice somewhere local and stumble across a couple of guys doing the same (All be it not falling off but mostly fixing them!!) ... and one of them is a fully paid up member of the Tubby Trials Team......and talked me into joining this forum for some 'support'!! So please help .. does …

40 something, lifelong mountain biker, bmxer and had big trail bikes in the past. Looking at getting into Trials in the North Lakes. Don't want to spend a fortune as I've two at home under 6 Suppose my question is, what size of bike should I be looking for? 6 feet and 13 stone. And is there much a club scene up here near Caldbeck? Great site by the way! Cheers Graeme

Greetings all: I just joined, just picked up a GasGas 200 last night, and I am ready to ride! I rode a '77 Cota 123 back when it was new, and and haven't been motorcycling at all since 1980. Long story; my dad was working with the west coast Montesa distribution in the states, Martin Belair worked there and introduced me to the sport. We rode all over southern California, Santee and Barona and Saddleback, and even the Orange County Fair. Anyhow, after way too long away from the sport, both my brother and I are jumping in feet up. If anyone out there communicates with Martin, tell him Damon Barda says hi, and thank him for giving me a passion for this sport so SO long …
