Hello I'm a new to trials and have just picked up a Fantic Section 1996 modle, a cheap winter project. I would really apreciate a copy of a workshop manual if any can help. Ive also just stripped the water pump as I had water in the oil so if anyone knows where I will get a water pump kit I would be very gratful. I will post some pictures once she looks a little healthier, one of the previous owners was a complete animal, he cut a hole in the side casing to get access to the clutch slave cylinder, when I said winter project I think it could turn into a labour of love. Any help would be greatfull, spares, documentation W.H.Y Kind Regards, Arthur

Hi I used to ride off road when I was much younger but really want to get into trials at a very beginner level. I've rode bikes for the last 40 years or so and I'm looking for a good cheap starter bike and places to ride in Lancashire. Thanks Martin

Hey guys! Let me start off with the name. My name is Jason and The 26incher stands for Old school BMX 26 inch bikes. I'm kinda well known in the BMX community as a total tard and I'm sure that will show here. I need some help with a project I have. I have a Honda TLR200 that I tricked out a little. I'm looking for the smallest size rear sprocket I can find. I thought I found a 42 tooth on e bay last night but today I can't find it! I would really like to find something smaller like maybe a 32, 34 or 36. Also, has anyone bumped up the front sprocket to a 14 tooth? With the cover, it doesen't look like there is much room? My goal is top speed. Right now the way I have …

Hello, my name's Felix, I'll keep it short, I used to be into trialing quite a lot and had a Gas Gas 125, however I had to sell it to free up some cash, it didn't really matter coz I am pretty crap but I still missed having a bike, recently I came across a Yamaha TY250 Pinky, it's a nice bike. Anyone else have one and know any common faults with them or easy jobs I can do to make it better, I'm not much of a mechanic, I'm gonna wash it off and clean it out, put some stickers on, that'll make my Pink bike look cool

Hi to all, I've used this tremendous source of information regarding trials for many years, a divorce stopped my riding a few years back, but following a move to farm in north Devon, a new to me bike purchase, a desire to have fun and do local trials made me finally sign. If your interested a bought a sherco st290 of 2012 vintage bought purely on condition/price for its age, I've ridden , montesa, scorpa, beta but this is my first sherco, I intend to enjoy riding again.

Been teaching my son to ride, starting on an OSET Spyder 16, and then a TXT 50 Boy, and now a TXT 80 Cadet. I used to following him in the hills here in Summerland, B.C., Canada on my GG EC300. I now have a 2008 TXT 300 Pro for my aging and "bigger" body. It's been a blast learning the basics; slower is more fun. Keen on linking up with others here in the sunny Okanagan. Cheers. Dale.

Hi to all, Been lurking around the forum for some weeks now, whilst trying to fathom out if its a sport for me. Been trying to get ideas on the usual whilst lurking bike/gear/transport, and where to ride. For Bike: I'm looking to buy a 2008 Gas Gas 250 (after discounting the 280 after reading forum advice). For Gear: Does wearing replica clothing (Jitsie/Gas Gas), make you look an idiot, if you cant ride? For Transport: Looking to get a towbar and a 3 bike trailer. Somewhere to Ride: Now thats where the issue is. Is there nowhere in South Devon to ride. North Devon (Lower Wembsworthy) is 1.5 hours away minimum. Any ideas appreciated!

Hello all, just stumbled upon this web site after much research for answers to some questions i have concerning my 1974 Yamaha TY250. The list for repairs isn't too long but enough to be a little over whelming. Hoping i can get some things sorted out here. Thanks, Jon

Hi just wanted to introduce myself, this is my first post ever online and my first delve into trial bikes. I live in South Shields, Tyne and Wear area. When i was younger i lived around Preston way and all me pals had trials bikes which fascinated me, i finally found myself in a good financial position and was offered a good deal on a 09 beta evo which i now own. Im sure i will ask everyone on here for help and advice along the way. I am currently struggling for practise places and advice near home, i have been travelling all the way down to the north west just to ride and practise and would welcome any advice.

Hi everyone, just bought my first trials bike, 2009 beta evo 290. Have only ridden it once but had great fun! I have the beta clutch drag issue which when I googled it brought me here. I used to do motocross, now my main activity is trackdays on my sports bike but got the trials for some local cheap fun.

Well, I've got a bike, a lid, boots and transport. My first ever trial is 3 weeks away close to home at Aughertree (Uldale). Apart from not forgetting the above items and fuel, are there any essentials/ tips that the good people of trials central can offer/ take the p*** as appropriate?

HI all, I'm in Alabama, USA, and have been playing with Vintage Pentons for a while, and now have my first Trials bikes. One is a 74 Yamaha TY250 which I intend to ride a lot. The other is a 78 Montesa Cota 348, which is very nice original, but is missing the headlight and switches. Thanks, and looking forward to playing in Trials, Keith Meatyard
