We rode usually at Gran Canyon in Brooksville ( which became a Disc Golf course later, and is now someone's investment property), on my (later) repainted, tricked-out but still hugely heavy home-welded slanted-shock Marland Whaley-replica Honda TL 250, joined the Air Force, rode some in the Omaha, Nebraska area on a (then new, and fondly remembered) Bultaco Sherpa T 350, got posted to England, and lost access to trials riding from there on out. As me name says tlr200 that's the bike I'm Slooooooowly restoring . It was a field bike when I bought her about 3 years ago and bin doing a bit at a time . On me last leg now hoping to have her all up and running by the summer. When she's all done it'll ave cost me a small fortune LOL but it'll basicly be a brand new bike in Repsol colours. Will put pickles on here as I put her back together all the best to who may read my new post.

Ok so my real name is Sean but I answer to most things non offensive lol. I live in a beautiful part of the UK in the Lake District Cumbria. I've had one or two trials bikes over the years as well as crossers but never got the chance to get into trials seriously. I've got a fairly good knowledge of most things mechanical I've always been a bit of a tinkerer, having said that I also appreciate there's a lot to learn too! I also ride on the road too namely a Fireblade but I've always had an interest in trials from being a small boy. If I can help anyone I'm more than happy to and always willing to learn too.

Hi all, Just found this site, looks very good. I live in France in the Alps - a trials paradise! I bought a used Montesa Cota 348 in 1982, still got it but bit rough now and in pieces. Just bought a 1979 Montesa Cota 349, much nicer bike but needs usual pieces, eg fork & shock seals, brake shoes, tank straps....Welcome any advice for spares. Also love to find some sort of manual. Hi. Im working on a franciss barnett for a customer of mine and I cant seem to correctly identify the bike correctly. I have already completed some work on the engine to getting running. My problem is that i need to replace the fork seals but im unsure the type of seals I need to buy. Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Hey everyone, I am from Homer, Alaska and I have raced MX for a few years, I also have a Monty trials bike which I rode a lot the last 2 summers. I had to sell my crf250 last year (to pay for my jeep) I am looking into getting a new motorcycle trials bike! Awww Yeah. I'm really stoked on it! Hello all, Just a note to say Hi I've been involved with Land Rover trials in the West Country for many years (25+). We share some of our sites with bike trials clubs. I've finally taken the decision to jump over the fence, get a trials bike and have a go! For years I've fancied a TY175 but recently I've been researching Fantic 200s and now I'm torn between the two! I could do with something road registered because we have a lot of opportunities locally. I'm also trying to find a good club local to us (Wiltshire) who would run Twinshock events...... Hi All, I've had a 2001 Sherco for 3 years now and never really rode it. Might have run 2 tanks of gas through it in my backyard. (must have been a good 20 minutes worth) I have a KDX and have done a few enduros, but I'm not one of the hardcore bunch. C senior midpack rider if I even finish. I own a small business, have 3 small kids, and really can't afford to whack any more trees like I did last year. Well its time to move on from trails and moto cross and into something new I think, and Trials it is. I have my kx450f posted for sale so that I can pick up a trials bike and start learning. It seems I just dont have time anymore to commit an eitire day to riding on a regular basis, and think that trials is the way to go. I will be able to ride in the woods behind and around my house without trailering, and have a feeling that after an hour of riding I will be beat anyways. Well, here I am...... Which means I have joined the dark side. Last night at 10.30pm my wife emailed a seller to say that I could buy a clean 2003 Scorpa SY250. I spent about 15 minutes on the same bike a few weeks ago, outside the sellers garage and everything has gone from there. I have been riding bikes since age 14, and am now 48. Hi All, I'm new to trials. I'm coming from trail riding and dual sport. I have had (over the past 30+ years) an old honda 360 scrambler, a suzuki GS550L, a honda XL650R, a honda Hurricane 600, a Hurricane 1000, a VFR700 and currently I have an '89 honda transalp that has been everywhere from highway to logging trails.
