Hello, my name is Wayne I ride a Gas Gas JT250 1995. My electric fan has stopped working and was wondering if any one knew where to get a replacement? I've tried Ebay and other online shops but drawing a blank at the moment. Any help would be much appreciated. Many Thanks Wayne.

Hi, everybody I just found this site in the middle of searching for some Italjet Trials 250 parts. I currently own a 1981 Italjet Trials 250 in Southern Ontario, Canada. 60 miles west of Toronto. The bike was purchased by my younger brother new back in 1982. There was 6 machines in Brantford at one time I am told. My brother rode Junior trials in the Canadian Motorcycle Association for a few seasons. Then he sold the bike to me. I am wondering if anyone knows any connections with Italjet dealers? I did get some points and condensor and a flywheel tool from a dealer in the Boston Mass area a few years back. Cheers Robert

Hi there thought I introduce my self not had a bike for best part 15 years ,my kids are now teenagers and not intrested in anything but X box so decided to get another bike , was looking for something road legal but have not got a licence ,so iv bought myself a Honda Tl 125 ,1986 bit less power than I'm use to but it gets me legal ,cheers matt

Hi everyone, having never competed at competetive trials, and at the moment don't have a bike, ( but did own a Fantic 250 3 years ago for fun only ) I do intend to sort a bike out and get some practice in before I make a fool of myself. I lve in Tamworth and are looking for somewhere to practice. I know of the place at Rugeley but have been told I will need insurance to ride there. Does anyone know where I can obtain this from? Also, what licences do I need, and where do I get one? Sorry to waffle on a bit and thanks in antissipation. :madsanta:

Hello All, After an absence of 30 years plus I decided to have another go at keeping my feet up. Back in the day I rode Bultaco's but could not find one to make my "come back" on so ended up with a 1980 349 Cota instead. I remember riding one in the early 80's although not as agile as a Sherpa (bit longer wheelbase) it felt stable, think I am going to need all the stability I can get! The bike is a black frame red tank model, but not the SSDT replica, my memory is not that good but I think the SSDT came out in to celebrate win before the white tank red frame World Championship replica which I think was 1981? G'day, my name is Rick. Live in New South Wales, Australia. Have been into motorbikes for the last 40 odd years, mainly trail and moto cross, but rode a few trials bikes in the 70's (I'm showing my age now), have got the twin shock trials bug and have purchase a #82 Italjet T350, goes great, just needs a bit of tender loving care, in the way of tyres, a bit of suspension work and basically some paint and polish!!So, I would be happy to hear from anyone who knows anything about the Italjet marque and/or offer any trials tips for an older guy riding a 'green frog'. Well, its been a blast this time but all good things come to an end, just sold up and moving onto other things, that's the 3rd time! Hi all. I have always fancied a go at trials so thought this is the place to start. At the moment I am selling my trusty XR600 which I hope will fund a new toy. Possibly a Gasgas txt 250? However, I know very little about this type of bike or trialling in general. The plan is to fit a rack on the back of my Land Rover and go and learn a bit of what it is all about. So here I am. Hello All Just a short introduction. I'm John Armstrong, currently working in Pakistan but from the UK originally. I live on a compound close to the power plant I work at, surrounded with about 1600 acres of land to ride on. I dropped on by chance in Karachi a TLR 200 which is in reasonable condition and seems to have been imported from Japan to be broken for spares. Hi All, totally new to motorbike trials, rode MTB trials as a teenager. Purchased a 2006 TXT Pro 250 2 weeks ago and with no bike experience I am stripping cleaning and learning about my new toy!! I have enjoyed motorsport (tarmac rallying) both competing and spectating for many years and now. First issue is horrid clutch drag so this weekend I learnt how to remove that. I've also ordered a slow response throttle whilst I learn to ride and some other service and essential bits! I have attached a couple pics. Look forward to chatting soon. Regards Steve

Hi I'm totally new to this site and trials riding. I live in Durham City and I recently bought a project bike. I am in the middle of doing it up with my son (he wants to be an engineer so I thought it was a good intro plus I've always hankered after a trials bike). It's a Sherco (Bultaco?) 290 Graham Jarvis replica from c2000. So far I've had the engine rebuilt by Alan Bird, Feet Up Trialsport (who seems a really nice bloke and full of knowledge). Hello I've spent many hours enjoying reading posts until my eyes are like p*** holes in snow... I grew up in Yorkshire riding Bultos and Ossas. I explained to my wife that I grew up riding with the Lampkins (I think I saw a couple of them across a wet field, 400 yds away...?) and it is my right to start riding trials after a brief lay-off, 42 years to be precise. I live in Hertfordshire these days. I've bought an '85 TLR200 thinking I'd ride twin-shock events and restore the bike and improve at the same time. Hi, just bought an Aprilia Climber as my wife and I fancy having a go at trials. Totally different to what we have been used too as we both road race but I did race motocross in my youth. Hi All, I'm looking to get into trials riding. I've done motocross, harescrambles, desert, a wee bit of flat track and a bunch of trail riding. Also ride street bikes. Have not even been astride a trials bike before. Planning on buying something inexpensive to learn on/beat up. Any leads on a bike would be great. I'm in Northern VA about 15 minutes outside DC.
