Hello,my name is steve,from dudley in the west midlands,im 32 and ive recently got back into trials riding after a break of about 20 years!!!! My first geared bike was everyones favorite,a TY 80,but after that i got into motorcross,superbikes etc...Fast forward 20 years and my brother brought a montesa 315r,which i now own (he now has a gas gas txt250) My dad had a plod around on our bikes,and he has now purchased a 250 sherco to re-live his youth as he used to compete about 20 odd years ago!! I guess all 3 of us have now come full circle in our biking careers...Im hoping to join a local club soon,and enter a few events.......

Hi all, been exclusively riding road bikes since mid 80s but new baby forces self preservation (sort of). I was toying with buying a new Harley - yes I know, they don't handle, they're slow and they don't stop etc... all of these things are true, which is my point, you live longer on a Harley! However, after trudging around most of the Harley dealers in the south of England, my wife asked me whether I would actually ride this one, or would I scan the horizon for anything resembling a cloud before I would wheel it out of the garage. Hi All, I am new to trials and new to this forum, so thought I would say hello. I have got myself a 2017 Beta Evo 300 SS to learn on. It is a bit of a bugger tho, it doesn't like to start, is there a knack to this? I can literally stand on the kick start and it won't budge, and it take a few kicks and a bit of throttle to start it, any advice would be really great, my knee hurts from just starting it lol. Looking forward to learning and getting back and riding in control. Cheers

Hello fellow trials rider. My name is James and I am addicted to Trials. I got my first taste while huffing 2 stroke in a buddies garage several months ago and I can't help myself. I went on a binge this weekend at the Trials Training Center and placed 5th in the novice on a Fantic 301. I'm afraid that methedone won't help me with this one, so like most addicts, I'm going to pass this habit along to my family. Hello Everyone. I just wanted to take a moment to say hello and introduce myself. After years, well decades really, of wanting to learn some of the skills required for trials, I recently went and purchased a very well used and possibly worn out trials bike. My knowledge base when it comes to this type of riding and the bikes themselves would not even cover the bottom of a thimble, but I'm eager to learn. The bike I picked up, as I said is a very well worn 2001 GG txt 250. Hello, I will be eventually posting on the specific Bultaco Forums but by way of introduction myself and my brothers were into scrambling and motorcross in our youth. However our father was into trials. He had and still has a Bultaco Sherpa T which with a bit of digging we have found that it is a Sammy Miller slimline Sherpa 250 t, chassis number SM408 The bike is in bits, I have attached a few pictures. The engine is in another cardboard box in the shed. The plan is for my brothers and I to get the bike back to up and running to give to him for his 80th, a year from now. I am now the proud ???? owner of a 2000 scorpa 290 . so I will have plenty of things to ask over the next few weeks while I get it up to the standerd I want it at . Hi all, New to the forum and I am looking to return back to trials after 18 years (I used to ride a Yamaha 200 Magesty). I wouder if anyone can help! I went to watch a local trial event to try and get some info on the bikes I am looking at (considering a gas gas 250 or beta 250 98-2002) anyway one guy said try not to buy anything older than a 2001 model because they have made some major changes to both bikes and a second opinion I had was not buy a 2002 gas gas as they are prone to loads of touble. I grew up on motorcycles. The last dirt bike I had was a gorgeous 1976 Bultaco Alpina 350. I brought it with me when I moved from the midwestern US to Wyoming and then to Utah. After a year or two here in Utah, I sold by Bultaco (just one of the more stupid things I have done), and bought my first horse. Hello, Found this forum looking for information on the M49 Bultaco Sherpa T I am building. Lots of good information here. Back in the day (early 1970's), I raced a Mk4 Pursang in scrambles and flat track. Haven't had an off road bike in 40+ years. The brain says "Lets Go!!", but the body says, "you're kidding, right?" Got a couple of M49's to build a one good bike, one a 1969 Sammy Miller version and the other a regular 1970 M49. Hi guys and gals, TC newbie here, English bloke living in NE Thailand. Long time lurker, gleaned lots of tech info over the last couple of years, thought it might be time to join. Sold up and moved here in 2003, brought my containers, workshops and bikes over in 2005.
