    Thanks Chewy and Pete for your replies and welcome. I should have said the club I have joined is a classic trials club with pre-65 and twin shock categories, hence the TY recommendation. However I will look at the clubs you have mentioned. Cheers andy

    Just introducing myself. I am a road rider, turned green laner now working down the cc's and up the mud content. I am completely new to trials - I have tried a couple of apparently gentle events on my XR400 but it wasn't a good (at least in my hands) so I'm on the look out for a TY250 (i'm told that at 16st+ I need the extra ccs). I live in Bristol (UK). Cheers Andy
