  10. Yes I've got a bit fed up of it so I'm gunna let the local dealer have a look at it!!!
  11. I've put the floats in a bowl of water and they seem fine,I will do the pipe trick and try that,it seemed to be worse this time when I put it back together, which needle and seat are you referring to? The float needle seat is in a recess and I can't see how it would be replaced?
  12. Think I'm gunna gave to bite the bullet and get a new carb,I've done everything suggested and its just pouring out of the pipes, does anybody have a rough price of a carb?
  13. Does the mixture screw work on the fuel or air side?

  16. I had a small brass pipe drop out the carb when reassembling today I think it sits in the bottom of where the main jet went and protrudes into the main inlet area of the carb, can anybody confirm this??

  20. Yea that's tomorrows job mate, just after measuring the float height I can't see a problem with it

    Evo Carb Issues

Hi after cleaning out my carb several times I'm still getting the dreaded dribbling problems,I've checked the float height and from what I can tell it seems ok but a bit tricky to measure, also I may have inadvertently moved the air mixture screw how crucial is this and will it cause engine wear damage? Can you send the carb to lampkins for any kind of modifications?

    evo carb query

for some reason when i put the bike on to reserve the float level in the carb sticks causing it to chuck petro out of the overflow and wont rev properly,i dont know if its just coincidence that it does it when on reserve or what, because when i turn the tap back to straight up position it carries on doing it,anybody had similar problems?
