    thanks for the reply guys, the engine in question is a rotax. i shall start looking around for tne right carb.

    hi can any one help solve my problem?i have a 1982 armstrong240tl which has a bing carb fitted and runs like a sack of crap,after a number of jet changes still made no change in perfornance. is the bing carb origanal?i i for one dont think so does any one know what the origanal one was or should be
