i am restoring a 1974 montesa cota 247, can anybody tell me what color is the gas tank? what is the best paint to use?

Thank you woody; It's looks like it's a 74. clutch arm is under the motor stinger.

ok so that does not help, how can i tell if it's a mk 1 mk 2 mk 3 mk 4 mk 4b ? 69 is stamped on block at the rear of the motor on the mount i do not know if this will help, brake pedal on the right side shift on the left?

I just found a nice montesa cota 247, I am trying to what year it is, this is what I know montesa cota 247 frame and engine # are the same. it is a 21m 5 speed, there is a #stamp on the block 69.
