Information for riders- Most bikes will need 2 fuel stops each day. There will be plenty of info/directions available for service vehicles at 'signing on'. We do advise you to bring an Ordnance Survey map of the area (Landranger 137 Church Stretton & Ludlow)

There is a footpath from the campsite to the pub/start....5 min walk! Saturday night should be good at the pub live music and BBQ

So who's got an entry for this years Long Mynd Trophy? (11th&12th August) Anybody camping over the weekend?

Long Mynd Trophy Trial 2012 !Entries open now! 2012 Road Trial is going to be a 2 day event! August 11th+12th. This years event will start at a new venue- 'The Bridges At Ratlinghope' There will be camping available for a small fee next to the pub, for friday and Saturday night. Food drink and breakfasts available. On the Saturday night the Landlord will be putting on a live band and BBQ for everyone. Why not make a weekend of it and bring the family, there is a Youth Hostel next door and also other camp sites near by. Regs available at www.southshropshiremcc.co.uk

The observers are sorted for the Longmynd Trophy trial and over 50 entries are in already.

Entries are now open for the Longmynd Trophy trial. Closing date is July 17th This year there is a new route, some new venues (never used before. Its a single lap trial of roughly 40miles. 2 routes expert / clubman www.southshropshiremcc.co.uk

there is no fuel van this year (it was a major fire/insurance issue!!!) This year its upto the riders to organise there own re-fueling.(as with most road trials) Hopefully everyone will help each other out!!! There will be an OS map on display at the start I think most modern trials bikes will do around 17 miles to a tank full??? I would be interested to hear what mileage people are getting! Gilmore -There is no petrol stations on route, tie a jerry can to your back, the Big TY will get you round.
