  1. Jeff, I sell both Revloc and Rekluse auto clutches. Autoclutches are not like a cars transmission. You still need to shift through the gears. The auto clutch just wont allow you to stall the bike in gear. Think of it as a centrifical clutch like on an old school go cart. Gas on you go...gas off you stop but the motor still runs. Auto clurtches are great for trail riding, racing and everything in between. I just dont see where it would be a benifit to a trials bike. I could be wrong though.... it has happened before. Yes you still get engine braking on downhills. Sometimes you will free wheel when you are not under load.
  2. Jon, did the front forks today. I added 10mm of preload. 5 wt Honda super slick fork oil. Adjusted the rebound and compression as you said. It works very nice so far. I have not really hammered it into anything yet, but maybe this weekend. I pulled the shock and cleaned everything. It looked amazingly good! Sag is at 100mm. My question is what is the blue knob at the top of the shock? I assume it is rebound or compression. Any thoughts on position? Thanks for the help! Doug
  3. Thank Jon! I will work on getting that done this week and reporting back!
  4. Hello all, I am new to trials and have some questions about suspension. What, if any suspension settings are common? Race sag, static sag or is this even required on a trials bike? I race Hare Scrambles and Enduros. So I know about sag and spring rates, but cannot find any info on this set-up. What about fork springs? Anything special? I weigh 180lbs. Thanks!
  5. Hi, I'm new to trials and picked up a nice JXT270. The muffler was shortened by the PO due to it being worn by the tire. What options are out there to get the OEM muffler. I was quoted $430 from Lewisportusa. Thats a bit steep. I only paid 1500 for the bike.
