  1. hi i have a sherco 290 2000 model and doing an engine rebuild and want help as all my bearings ceased etc main little end big end i can get hold of the little end and crankshaft bearings but apparently i need to buy conrod kit to get big end bearings but im hoping i can get bearings off ? and match them up van i have help please cheers matt

      The reason is that the con-rod will be worn if the bearing is worn. You should always replace them as a set. It would be awful to go to all the trouble of rebuilding the crank and have it fail again because you didn't replace the rod. It is way too big of a job to cut corners.
