  2. I have fitted a new clutch to my very old Beta, we think it is a Zero. It has a cable clutch with a worm gear arangement, there is only one way to fit it so it is sitting right, however when i do this the spring tennsion on the arm (where the cable connects) is goingin the wrong direction and if i replace the allen screws and secure the clutch cover the are will not move in either direction. it's been twenty years since i touched a bike engine but even so, what am i missing here apart from common sence. any help would be appreciated, the clutch was slipping, so i fitted new plates .
