  1. TY175 will run but not rev

    Hi, just had my TY rebuilt, it would'nt run properly when I bought it so thought I would have the engine rebuilt. Had new bearings, rod, piston (not genuine, from ebay ?) points, condenser, Wes pipe, and stainless front pipe. Will run, just, starts first kick but wont rev. Pulling choke makes no difference. When I bought it the guy had put a new carb on it but its not the 525 Mikuni. Am I waisting my time until I get the right carb ? Cheers
