Hey Guys,
After sitting for a while, my '98 Montesa Cota 315R won't start. I suspect the float valve is stuck as fuel doesn't flow into the bowl. I've got the carb off the bike, and I removed the large bolt (with jet) at the bottom of the bowl but the bowl is still stuck to the carb itself. I don't see any other bolts or screws that would hold it in place but, since I'm not familiar with the DellOrto PHBH26cs, I might be missing something.
I suspect the gasket has turned to mush and is holding the bowl in place. Before I go applying pressure, I'd like to confirm that there's nothing else holding the bowl in place. So, can anyone confirm that I should be able to remove the bowl at this point or explain how to remove it?
Thanks,
Miguel
