    Pinky Exhaust

Could someone please tell me how to repack the pinky exhaust, I can't see how it comes apart...
  2. Thanks guys! totally cleaned out the carb last night, installed new plug NGK B6ES, and filled with new fuel mix. She runs great now, except for the throttle cable seems to be sticky sometimes. Does anybody know the part number for the throttle cable cause I don't have a manual just yet??
  3. So I ended up getting the TY250 and to my surprise it is actually a Pinky! It seems to run well, but somebody has repainted the white plastics blue, needless to say I will eventually strip it down and give it a nice paint job with some Fusion. Thanks for all the good info guys, keep it up!
  4. My new to me pinky isn't running right, sputters for a bit then surges with the power coming back on. I'm going to cleam out the carb but would like to have some spare plugs for future problems. So which model plug will work best with this bike, someone posted a B6ES plug cause it runs hotter, but also read somewhere the B8ES works too. What is the stock plug #, and what should I be running with, maybe a hotter one? Thanks Guys.
  5. Hey, Where abouts did you get the tank cover from and what does it look like? any pics on the net? Thanks.
  6. Hey guys, I've been lurking here for a while because I've narrowed down my choice of bike to a TY250 mono and this seems the best place on the net for info, you guys here are great. So I have just came across both a late 80's TY250, could be a pinky too haven't seen it yet, and a 85 or 86 TY350. Both sellers happen to be asking the same price!! I have heard good things about both models but I've also read a few negative things on the 350. This is my first trials bike and will mainly be using it to learn on and having some fun camping and stuff like that. Im 6'1" and 200lbs with gear. I would like to hear some more opinions on the better of these two bikes, will I even notice the extra 100cc's? Thanks in advance!! Mark.
  7. Hey guys, I have a line on the three following bikes and was hoping you could tell the low down on which of these is the better bike. This is going to be my first trials bike, and I havent had too much riding experience, but I want something I can grow into. I really would like a bike that is super reliable, and has a decent size gas tank for extended riding periods. 1.) 1992 Yamaha TY250: (good condition, runs great, new plastic, tires, domino controls, very clean, front disc break) 2.) 1990 Beta Zero: (New front tire, runs good, very reliable) 3.) 1995 GasGas JT35: (From the day of the really big bore, boat-loads of torque. Needs nothing.) They are all in the same price range. Thanks
