July 21, 200620 yr My dad has just took the exhaust off my yamaha ty250s exhaust to unchoke it a bit in an attempt to gain more power but he isnt sure whether he should repack it or not. Do any of you guys know how important it is to pack it and whether or not it will effect anything other than the noise suppression?

May 27, 200719 yr Could someone please tell me how to repack the pinky exhaust, I can't see how it comes apart... a front pipe silencer on a pinky only comes apart when all the seam round the rim has been grond down by about 2mm , and some spot welds on the back side have been ground down . the original back box is also the same .Some of the after market tailpipes can be re-packed . samb
