ok so i finally managed to track down a flywheel puller and pulled the flywheel this morning the case seal looks mint im going to change it on monday when the bearing store opens but it looks like this is not my problem ive looked the manifold over but will check it again this afternoon im scared to spray brake clean because the bike is reving so high it sounds like its going to grenade and i really cant afford to fix it if it blows up

i went out and double checked and there is a small gap under the slide (less then 1/8 of a inch) so im assuming thats at bottom the throttle cable seems fine i was really hoping it wasnt a crank seal as it seems to take forever to get parts around here and i really miss riding im off to the shop now and i guess ill double check everything with the carb and hope that i missed something thanks for the help

yes checked the cable and the slide appears to be closing all the way

was out riding last month and my bike started running like crap. If you let off the throttle at all the bike would die took it home pulled the reed block out and the reeds were toast ordered new reeds waited three weeks for the wrong ones to show up two more weeks for the right ones to get here put it all back together and go to fire it up and it revs to the moon took it apart again and used hondabond on the gaskets carefully put it back together fired it up and same thing happens I'm going nuts all i want to do is go riding cant for the life of me see whats wrong any ideas ?
