My 315r was also pinking a bit today running it up in the shed.I never even considered it needed a higher octaine fuel,as im using 95 ron.Food for thought i suppose....

It is indeed a nice bike,seems a bit more punchy low down compared to my brothers gas gas,so it keeps me on my toes!!!!

Hello,my name is steve,from dudley in the west midlands,im 32 and ive recently got back into trials riding after a break of about 20 years!!!! My first geared bike was everyones favorite,a TY 80,but after that i got into motorcross,superbikes etc...Fast forward 20 years and my brother brought a montesa 315r,which i now own (he now has a gas gas txt250) My dad had a plod around on our bikes,and he has now purchased a 250 sherco to re-live his youth as he used to compete about 20 odd years ago!! I guess all 3 of us have now come full circle in our biking careers...Im hoping to join a local club soon,and enter a few events.......
