  1. Lokichar... Very hot and sandy. Remember riding in from Karpedo along an awesome fast sand track If you look round the marich Pass on the way there by tarmac from Kapenguria you will find some lovely cool mountain riding. Have you got a bike in Kenya? Do you want to come riding?
  2. Bought a completely bog standard bike assume set by ossa factory in Spain.... Ran very well at 5000 ft asl and then took it back home at 6500ft asl- where it also ran perfectly. I'm up to 9000 ft and above in a few weeks time and will let you know how I get on. At 100:1 very little smoking and bogging but it does like to be cleaned out a bit if it is to start in 2-3 kicks from cold.
  3. Just got the 2011 (SSDT edition) with mods and a 2 map switch.... Not too much of a pig to start but time will tell. I need to put on 6" rise bars as I am 6'6" but otherwise no adjustments except maybe aluminium bark busters.
  4. I'm returning to trials after 25 years and am back on my trusty (not really, now a bad running nightmare) TY175. I found a few other enthusiasts and now someone selling new trials bikes.... 5 of us will try having the first competition in 20 years (as the sport died out...) at a four wheel drive event in an old quarry. Otherwise too spoilt for choice for amazing bits to ride in. Big thanks to Ian Allaway of JAMsport in Surrey who lent me a demo bike for the morning to put the grin back on my face when I was recently in UK!
