    r2w, thanks for your reply. the bike has VERY few hours on it, so was thinking it was perhaps something minor, if there is anything special i need to know regarding clutch disassembly, maybe someone can advise... i appreciate any and all help. enjoy! 5bike

    Hi Folks, have been riding forever, (well 37 years anyway....!) stumbled onto this site and registered, looks like an excellent forum. As stated above, i have a '99 TXT-270, and believe it or not,i just started it up (3rd kick) for first time this year. Hadn't been since last fall. Anyway, it runs fine, but clutch is slipping terribly. Didn't seem to at first, but the longer i rode it, the worse it got. Sure didn't the last time i was on it. Any suggestions ? Certainly do appreciate any help you can provide this dinosaur with. complete regards, 5bike
