    Hi. Have been supplied with another rectifier regulator, but only has one yellow one black. It was supplied by moto merlin as the correct one, but nothing like what I have. Does the thermoswitch connect to the regulator/rectifier? The black and red wires go straight to the fan, so does the switch work of an AC voltage? Cheers

    Hi Folks I am stuck, have had cooling problems, so cleaned fan motor all was good! Have noticed that there is now no power to the motor and have traced to black box (is this a thermal switch?) bolted to side of the fan with two yellow ( Alternator I guess) and red black to the fan. Any ideas please? Cheers
