  1. Sherco 290 (03) Gearbox!

    Bought a 290 sherco last month, all was well until today after id been on it for a couple of hours. I had been having problems for a few minutes selecting gears. Slowed down and pressed harder downwards on gearshift. Gearbox started to make loud grinding noise so i pushed the thing to van. The gear lever is floppy(loose).Like a plonker i started it a couple more times hoping it would disappear! Is this common fault, Is it gonna cost me a packet.??? Cheers all, rich.

    hello pickard sherco 125, my sherco 290 (03) spring seems to have broken also, does yours make a loud rattling noise if you start the bike up. Im not sure if ive knackered gearbox up or not. maybe its stuck between gears, any advice appreciated. cheers rich.
