Hi just finishing full resting of a 1974 Ty250a, only part I can’t locate is a replacement speedo bracket. Can anyone kindly help with a fix or an unwanted part. thanks david

Hi - restoring 1972 Cota 247, unable to locate the correct Amal Mk1 Carb to Air Boot flange, bike came with one loose but it's 35mm thread not the 42mm required. Tried all usual sources but no joy - any help appreciated.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I have ended up using a cross section of the advise provided ie WD 40, twisting motion etc, but what really did the trick was light use of a heat gun on top and bottom yolk - so problem solved and on to the next challenge which I'm sure will be lurking just round the corner!!

Just reassembling a 1972 Montesa Cota 247 and cannot get the folk tubes though the yoke holes. Can anyone advise best way without having to open yoke expansion split with a chisel?
