  1. TL250 is the donor. I’ve seen some on a tlr200 that appear very similar and may be easier to find than TL250 units. I did find a local TL250 but I have to buy the whole bike to get the clamps, situation is not that dire, thanks for the help!
  2. Can anyone recognize/ID these fork trees? They're on a TL125 with 34mm KT250 forks but the clamps are from neither of the above. The top unit keeps cracking so it's time to try to locate a replacement. Thanks for any help! John in NC USA
  3. Looks like plenty of life left on that sprocket. How many years did it take to wear it that far?
  4. Got a couple shots here on this computer. You all know what a Mont 4RT looks like, here's the Bultaco (as found, tarted up like a 199B), the '61G3C and the RTL.
  5. Greetings all, I've been lurking and realized I hadn't said hello so here goes. I'm John French and live in NC USA, I've been riding trials since about 1990 (I'm 61) and currently have about 5 or 6 (or 7) trials bikes. My modern bike is a 2016 Montesa 4RT 260 and in order of next oldest they are 1985 RTl250 Honda, 1980 199A Bultaco, 1977 Ty250D Yam, 1975 Tl125 Honda, 1966 Triumph Cub and a '61 G3C Matchless. G3C is too nice to ride in dirt so I had to buy another that I can crash in a section and not cry too much. It's still very much a project so it will be a while before that one sees a trial. I have my own small shop so I can do most tasks myself. I'll get back to studying all the activity here that is interesting to my projects but will speak up when I can't find an answer, thanks!

Greetings All, I'm a little late to join in here but wanted to add a point about Uncle Sam making laws to protect Harley-Davidson by requiring all bikes sold in the US shift on the left and brake on the right. The fact of the matter is that Harley-Davidson made Sportsters, their best selling model, which shifted on the right side from their inception in '57 as did the predecessor K model flatheads. The law that standardized control placement was a result of accidents and deaths from riders unused to different control configurations and not to protect HD as it required them to make changes too. " Uncle Sam makes new laws to protect Harley-Davidson" makes a much more dramatic headline, I agree, but it is not what happened. Now back to your regular Trials programming...
